Sridevi Vishwanathan
Natya Tapasya Dance Academy is a traditional Classical Bharatanatyam School providing Dance and Yoga classes at two convenient locations in Mississauga and Brampton. Founded by Smt. Sridevi Vishwanthan, the institute aims to provide students with a systematic training in the “Kalakshetra” style of dancing, along with theory knowledge & Yoga, a method proven effective for the past 25 years since the founding of the school. 

Having learnt from eminent gurus such as Padmashri Adyar K Lakshman, Sridevi’s sincerely believes that a student gets the best learning experience by learning Bharatanatyam along with the rich Indian culture through the Guru Shishya relationship. Her vision for Natya Tapasya is to provide her students with the same enriching relationship as she maintains to date with her Guru while at the same time showcasing this wonderful art form to the community.
